Graduation Information The next degree conferral date is on Saturday, May 23, 2026. This is also the date of the Annual Commencement Ceremony. All graduates of December 31, 2025 are invited to participate in the Commencement Ceremony on May 23, 2026. General Information Date, Time & Location HJI degrees are conferred at the end of May and the end of December. Commencement is held once a year in May. Professor of Scriptural Studies Dr. Andrew Wilson is Professor of Scriptural Studies at HJI (formerly UTS), where he has been teaching for over 30 years. His book World Scripture: A Comparative Anthology of Sacred Texts (1991) is a standard in the field of interfaith studies, and World Scripture and the Teachings of Sun Myung Moon (2007) was designated by Rev. Lecturer in Family Counseling Lynn Walsh taught Sociology and Behavioral Science courses for over 15 years at the University of Bridgeport and Mercy College including Human Sexual Behavior, Gender Role Dynamics, Approaches to Parenting, Marriage Enrichment, Family Issues Today, and Marriage and Relationship Education.
