Mrs. Sung Bok (Lee) Hsu, of Columbus, Ohio, passed, on Tuesday, August 16, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Hsu founded HSU & Co. Natural Foods in 1977, devoting herself to help others improve their health and well-being. In the years 2005 and 2006 she was a major donor to UTS and was inducted as a member of the UTS Founders’ Society. She attended the UTS gala evening at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Westchester on April 21, 2006 with other key donors and supporters. Dr. Edwin Ang is the former Executive Vice-President of UTS, serving from 1977-1994. His 90th birthday party was held at the Chinese Palace, a restaurant in New Jersey, near where Dr. and Mrs. Ang currently live with their second son, Dohi and his family. From June 21 to July 7 Dr. Drissa Kone (UTS’12 and ’16) was in the Ivory Coast. Of course, it is where he was born and where most of his family still live, but it was not a holiday visit that took him there. The thirteenth annual forum of UTS alumni in the UK was held in Bonsall, in the midst of the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District on May 28th 2016, under the theme “Unificationism in a time of discord”.
