On Saturday, May 4 representatives from HJI attended the annual Spring Fest organized by the Belvedere Family Church at the Belvedere Estate in Tarrytown, NY. It was an exciting celebration with games, family activities, and good food for all. On April 3rd, HJI welcomed Masato Sudo, son of HJI alum and early FFWPU pioneer educator, Rev. Ken Sudo (M.Div. 1995). Rev. Sudo passed away on December 22, 2023 at age 92. Masato, currently residing in Seattle, is visiting New York and was eager to return to places of his childhood, including 43rd St and the former HJI campus in Barrytown, NY. HJI President Speaks to HJI Alumni and Friends in Montreal, Canada

HJI President, Dr. Thomas Walsh, visited Montreal on March 30-31, 2024, for meetings with Dr. Franco Famularo, and HJI Alumni and Chairman of HJI’s Board of Trustees, and with other alumni based in Quebec, Ontario and even Vermont, USA.
