Lecturer in Information Literacy

Robert Wagner is a lifelong New Yorker who was raised on eastern Long Island. Mr. Wagner has spent his entire professional career as a Librarian. He has worked in the public library sector and later as a Librarian and Director in seminaries and higher education environments.  

Mr. Wagner holds a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree (in history) and a Master’s Degree in Library Science from Queens College. He recently earned a M.Jur from Liberty University Law School and is pursuing his JD.

Mr. Wagner is involved in several professional consortiums and particularly interested in the online delivery of library services and curriculum-based collection development. Mr. Wagner is passionate about delivering exceptional patron service and working with, and addressing the information needs and research skills of faculty and students. 

Mr. Wagner enjoys reading in a variety of areas including history and urban studies, spending time with his family, day trips and exploring New York City.
